One suspect arrested, one still sought
Crime-Scene-Tape

Bryan County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to a call of shots fired in a residential area stumbled upon a meth lab Wednesday night in Pembroke, according to Detective Donnie Thomas.

Authorities were dispatched shortly after 10 p.m. to a home in the 1600 block of Harvey Town Road. After discovering the drug-production operation, one suspect was arrested. Deputies still are seeking warrants on another suspect, who is wanted for aggravated assault and felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

Thomas said the suspect fired shots at another individual, but no one was injured. The BCSO still is investigating the reported shooting, and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation was called in to investigate the meth lab.
