Bryan County’s old health department building in Richmond Hill will be sold for less than its current value, and the money from the sale will go to fund a road project.
During its regular meeting Tuesday, the Bryan County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to sell the building on Hwy. 144 in Richmond Hill for $520,000 to Sidney Smith, a dermatologist in Savannah. The tax value of the building is $729,700, according to county records.
More details on this and other county actions are in a story in the Midweek Bryan County News.
