County update: Debris removal, courts, curfew

Here's the latest update from Bryan County:

Update 6: April 5 Tornado Debris Management (April 7, 12:30pm)

The County is working with contractors for storm debris removal.  It is important that vegetative waste (limbs, logs, etc) are separated from construction waste. All vegetative waste should be put in the right of way of the roadway. Please be patient with this process as we move forward.

If you need non-emergency help, to request a welfare check, or to report large debris, please call     (912) 858- INFO.

All courts will be closed until further notice. All County business will be conducted at the Bryan County administration building in Richmond Hill at 66 Captain Matthew Freeman Drive until further notice.

A State of Emergency remains in effect for damaged areas of North. There has been significant damage to the Park Place and Homestead Drive neighborhoods, Hendrix Park, Black Creek Golf Club, and the areas of Pembroke including the County complex.  Avoid these areas as you go about your day. At this point, a curfew will again be in effect for the impacted areas from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
