County to hold workshops on Jekyll Island

Bryan County Commissioners will hold a strategic planning workshop starting Sunday on Jekyll Island.

The workshop is being held at the Jekyll Island Club Resort. It starts with a 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. session on Sunday. A full day of sessions will be held from 9 am. to 6 pm. on Monday, and commissioners will hold more sessions from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

Commissioners have held off-site meetings on a regular basis for years.

The meetings are open to the public. The resort is located at 371 Riverview Drive, Jekyll Island.

GeorgiaForward has announced that the 2025 Youth Placemaking Grant has been presented to the City of Pembroke Mayor’s Youth Council. The $500 grant, awarded to the city, will support a youth-led public placemaking project designed to foster creativity, community connection, and civic pride among young residents.
