Council hopes to cut spending

Richmond Hill officials are proposing a small spending decrease next year while holding the tax rate steady and more than doubling the city’s contingency fund.
The Richmond Hill City Council will hold a budget hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday, before its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at city hall.
