Summer Beal, the CEO of the Bryan County Chamber of Commerce, has stepped down from her role, according to a press release from the Chamber issued Friday.

"Our CEO has made the decision to step down from her role. We are so grateful for Summer Beal's service and contributions, and we support her as she takes the next steps in her professional journey," said Matt Hodges, Chairman of the Board of Directors in the Chamber of Commerce.

Beal has served as Chamber President/CEO since May 2023 and previously worked as Senior Manager of Player Relations and Tournament Administration for the PGA TOUR Champions.

Beal's successor will be chosen via a select search committee within the Chamber.

"The Board of Directors has established a search committee that will lead a deliberate, strategic, and forward-looking process to identify our next CEO," said Hodges. "This moment presents an exciting opportunity to build upon a strong foundation and to select leadership that will guide the Chamber into its next chapter of growth and impact."
