Career academy gets land from LCDA

Liberty County is closer to having a career academy thanks in part to a land donation approved by the Liberty County Development Authority board on Monday. Liberty County School System Superintendent Dr. Judy Scherer presented the request to the board at its regular meeting Monday. “I think this would be a tremendous contribution to the community,” she said.
