In recognition of Earth Day, Caesarstone Technologies USA Inc. employees today walked the roads to pick up trash and debris in the areas surrounding Caesarstone and Belfast Keller Road.

In all, employees filled 30 bags of trash.

“It is important to raise public awareness in regard to the well-being of our planet,” said Yossi Binyamin, general manager of Caesarstone. “Our facilities in Israel do similar events on Earth Day. Taking care of the environment is everyone’s responsibility, and I am proud that we are taking care of the county that has taken care of us for the last six years.”

Caesarstone is an Israeli- headquartered manufacturer of engineered quartz surfaces. The company was the first to locate in the Belfast Commerce Park in Richmond Hill and employs nearly 200 people.
