RICHARDSON, Texas — Coastal Georgia residents soon may have a new place for wings.

Hilton Head-based developer Richard Connolly recently signed a multi-unit development agreement with the Texas-based Wingstop. Hinesville, Fort Stewart, Savannah and Pooler are Georgia locations named in the agreement.

Connolly, who also owns 13 Panera Bread locations throughout Georgia and South Carolina, is currently scouting locations and plans to open his first Wingstop within the next six months.

Information about the Hinesville and Fort Stewart locations was not available at press time.

With a sole focus on cooked-to-order chicken, the Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, chicken strips and sandwiches — all sauced in 10 original flavors.

“I love the simplicity of the concept and keeping the focus on fresh, made-to-order wings and fries,” Connolly said.
