Savannah Technical College will host a Military Career Fair and Hiring Event from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, in building 705 (100 W. 15th St.) on Fort Stewart.
This event is open to soldiers, veterans and their family members. Representatives from more than 20 companies will be available to meet with attendees about jobs at places like Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Firth Rixson, Elan Technology, SNF Holding Company, Home Depot, UPS and more.
The college’s faculty and staff make it a priority to assist veterans, military members, dependents and spouses in furthering their education and finding suitable jobs. STC is an approved member of the Veteran’s Education Assistance program and the Soldiers Opportunity College. Military members and Georgia residents may qualify for in-state tuition rates with active-duty status and proof of residency.
