McDonald’s and its franchisees are looking to hire additional talent for crew and restaurant-management positions at their Hinesville-area restaurants April 19.
This one-day event is part of a nationwide initiative for McDonald’s and its franchisees to hire up to 50,000 new employees at restaurants across the country.
The new positions will include a combination of both seasonal and sustaining full-time and part-time positions based upon individual restaurant needs.
Those interested in applying for an available position should visit their participating local McDonald’s or apply online at www.McDonalds.com/Careers
“Our business is strong and our customers are responding positively to the variety of choices on our menu and the value and convenience we provide,” McDonald’s owner/operator Gary Dodd said. “As our business continues to grow, we want to provide our customers with an even better experience in all of our Hinesville restaurants. And every employee plays a vital role in helping us fulfill that goal.”
Locally, the Savannah Area McDonald’s Operator’s Association of franchisees funds its own scholarship program for their employees.
“We’ve been building our scholarship program for many years, and we’re proud to be able to help our employees out with their education. That’s what our McDonald’s family is all about — helping each other succeed,” Dodd said.  “We select one recipient per restaurant annually, and award them $1,200 toward their tuition, books and other necessary items.”
