Magnolia Manor gets expanded license

Local retirement community Magnolia Manor has received its state license, which will expand its assisted-living care options, according to Administrator Michelle Laidler.
“Late 2011, an opportunity presented itself for our campus to increase our capacity for assisted living services,” Laidler said.  “Now, after more than a year of intense preparations, we have received our state license, and my staff is excited to be able to serve more residents under this higher level of care, which includes assistance with bathing, grooming, medications, meals and other activities of daily living.”
The new assisted-living wing is open.  Magnolia Manor on the Coast is a not-for-profit extension ministry.
