The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Lunch and Learn on Medicaid from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, at Bubba’s Bistro.

The program will be facilitated by Jeffrey Williamson of J.L. Williamson Law Group LLC, an estate planning firm that focuses mainly on elder law and asset protection.

Trying to qualify for Medicaid can be a difficult and complicated process.  Many people falsely assume that because they’ve done no planning, nothing can be done.  While advanced planning is best, there are ways to maximize and preserve assets in crisis situations.
