Student Dr. Farhan Hooda recently completed an externship with Thomas Byrnes, D.O. at Redicare - Urgent Medical Care in Richmond Hill.

Hooda, a Chicago native living in Suwanee, is a third-year osteopathic medical student at the Georgia campus of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

According to a news release, Hooda chose to perform a clinical rotation with Dr. Byrnes to improve his OMT skills and better learn how to use osteopathic manipulative treatment in a clinical setting while also applying family-medicine skills.

Hooda is scheduled to graduate in May 2013. His next externship is at the Good News Clinic in Gainesville.
