A job fair that had been scheduled for the Shuman Recreation Center in Hinesville Wednesday has been canceled.

It was supposed to be accompanied by a business expo, according to an earlier report. Hosts were to be the Georgia Department of Labor and the Liberty/Long Employer Committee, with the Liberty County Chamber of Commerce organizing it.

No explanation of why the event was cancelled was reported.
