The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce is preparing to release its 2017 Member to Member Discount Program membership cards.

The program, entering its seventh year, has had more than 90 members participate, with business to business relationships at the core of the mission.

With this program, members can provide special offers and discounts to other members, their employees and encourage folks to "Shop Local, Shop Liberty!"

The cards, when shown at participating member businesses, save money on purchases or services. The main purpose of the card is to verify membership in order to receive discounts. Each year the organization also has a monthly "Discount Spotlight" for each business featured on the back of the card. The discount will be highlighted in the weekly e-news for that month. Members will also have access to a list of discounts on the Chamber’s website www.libertycounty.org.

"Our goal is to keep more of Liberty County dollars in Liberty County, so Shop Local, Shop Liberty," said Leah Poole, Liberty Chamber/CVB CEO. "Discover a new way to shop, support and save by taking advantage of this awesome program."
