The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting and Dinner Banquet at 6 tonight at the Richmond Hill City Center.

Marty Daniel, founder and CEO of Daniel Defense, will be the guest speaker.

Located in Black Creek, Daniel Defense is a manufacturer of premium firearms, rail systems and accessories. In 2016 Gov. Nathan Deal announced that Daniel Defense will invest $29.5 million to expand existing operations in Bryan County.

Since founding his company in 2000, Daniel has gained considerable notoriety and Daniel Defense was recognized by IN C. 500/5000 Magazine in 2012, 2013 and 2014 as one of the fastest growing companies in America, averaging an annual growth of over one hundred percent.

Daniel is a native of Claxton, 1980 graduate of Pinewood Christian Academy in Bellville and earned a bachelor’s of science in electrical engineering technology from Georgia Southern in 1985.

The RHBC Chamber’s business of the year and ambassador of the year awards will be presented and the Chamber’s 2017 board of birectors will be recognized and 2018 board members will be inducted.
