Chamber banquet features transportation promoter

The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting and Dinner Banquet at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the Richmond Hill City Center.

Seth Millican, executive director of the Georgia Transportation Alliance, will be the guest speaker.

Millican will highlight Georgia 2030, a plan to expand Georgia’s role in global commerce, cultivate the workforce, bolster economic mobility, create jobs and support communities.

The alliance is led by a steering committee, executive committee, and board representing more than 100 years of experience across the transportation industry. These professiionals serve in a variety of civic and leadership positions in business, civic and non-profits.

The RHBC Chamber’s Business of the Year and Ambassador of the Year awards will be presented. The Chamber’s 2016 board of directors will be recognized and 2017 board will be introduced.

Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for others. Tables are also available. RSVPs are required by Jan. 6. The event’s title sponsor is J.L. Williamson Law Group.
