The Richmond Hill-based public relations firm Lesley Francis PR has been appointed to work with Urgent Care 24/7 to raise the profile of its five urgent-care clinics and two animal-care clinics in the Savannah area.
Urgent Care 24/7 has urgent-care centers providing adult and pediatric medical care in Pooler, Midtown, Savannah, Tybee Island and Sandfly under the direction and supervision of Dr. Jerry K. Williams Jr. Its animal-care clinics are in Savannah and Tybee Island.
“Having worked to provide marketing and PR support in the health-care arena in both Europe and the USA, we are excited to have been appointed to work as an integral part of Dr. Williams’ team,” said Lesley Francis, a Richmond Hill resident.

GOSF has new online home
The Great Ogeechee Seafood Festival recently launched a brand new website, according to the Richmond Hill Bryan County Chamber of Commerce.
The new site is interactive and includes places where those interested can find 2014 vendor applications, admission prices, how to become a volunteer and sponsor, etc.

Big Green Egg demo
Georgia Hearth Sales and Distribution, the distributor for Big Green Egg in Georgia, South and North Carolina, will host a Mini-Fest Demonstration Day on Saturday, June 7, at Kitchenware Outfitters, 12 Oaks Shopping Center, next to Publix, 5500 Abercorn St. in Savannah.
The Big Green Egg culinary team will cook on several EGGs and sample food for people attending the free event. EGGsperts and EGG owners will be available to answer questions. The new XXL Big Green Egg, the largest Big Green Egg, will be on display as well.
