Bedingfield Pharmacy will be celebrating 40 years of business in Pembroke on Saturday with a Customer Appreciation Health Fair at the Pembroke Senior Citizens' Center.

According to Pharmacist Teresa Smith, the Health Fair will feature free health screenings provided by South University School of Pharmacy, a free raffle for a flat screen television, a camcorder and an iPod shuffle. The Health Fair will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Since opening in 1968, Bedingfield Pharmacy has been operating in downtown Pembroke. It is currently located at 27 S. Main Street.

"We would like to invite everyone out to visit and get a health screening," said Smith. "We are really excited and proud to have served Pembroke and the surrounding areas for the 40 years. We look forward to continuing to do so."
