Another business has popped up in Richmond Hill. A ribbon cutting ceremony for Bargain Bucks, a discount store located at the intersection of Hwy. 17 and Harris Trail Road, took place on Oct. 2. The store is owned by the mother and daughter team of Elaine Myers and her daughter Tanya Cole and features a variety of party supplies, holiday items, toys, cleaning supplies and household goods at 40 percent below regular retail. Cole is banking on the fact that the store has 99 cent blown mylar balloons to be a draw to the new business. Pictured are (from left) city manager Mike Melton, Chamber of Commerce Director Kittie Franklin, Mayor Richard Davis, and business owners Cole and Myers at the ceremony.
