The Savannah Bancorp recently announced that Lynne Haines joined the company as director of human resources.
In her new role, Haines is responsible for benefits coordination, compensation, policy development and enforcement, employment practices and compliance, as well as employee relations and communications for The Savannah Bancorp and its subsidiary companies, The Savannah Bank, Bryan Bank and Minis & Company.
Haines has more than 16 years of experience as a human resources professional. Most recently, she was the director of human resources at the Savannah office of Cahaba GBA LLC, formerly Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama.
A longtime resident of Richmond Hill, Haines graduated from Richmond Hill High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in consumer sciences from Georgia Southern University.
She has held several certifications, including Professional of Human Resources, Performance Management and Targeted Selection Interviewing.
Haines is an active member of the local and national chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management and has been a United Way volunteer for more than 15 years.
