Attorney opens Pembroke practice

Attorney Matthew L. Waters has opened a new law firm at 41 N. College St. in Pembroke and is offering serves in family law, real estate transactions, criminal law, corporate law, collections services, estate planning and more.
Waters is the principal lawyer of the firm, Matthew L. Waters P.C., and he has more than 20 years of experience through his current practice in Wrightsville and a previous practice in Metter.
Waters received his law degree with honors from John Marshall Law School in 1989. Prior to practicing law, he graduated from the University of Georgia in 1975 with a degree in agricultural economics and worked in agricultural sales for a number of years. 
Shay Moorman is also an attorney at Matthew L. Waters P.C. and is licensed in both Georgia and Florida. Moorman received his law degree with top honors from Florida State University in 2008, and a master’s degree in laws in taxation from the University of Florida in 2009. 
The firm’s support staff in Pembroke includes local resident Lorri Strickland.
