The Fifth annual Richmond Hill-Bryan County Business & Consumer Expo is this Saturday at the Richmond Hill Recreation Center on Timber Trail Drive from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 60 businesses and vendors will have displays up along with activities. “Come out and support your local Businesses,” coordinator Shirley Heagarty said. “This is like being at the mall without the drive.”  Last year’s event drew 1,000 people and 65 businesses – down slightly this year due to the economy, according to Heagarty. Among the activities planned are a Battle of the Bands, a solar balloon exhibit from Coastal Electric, book reading and skits by the folks at the Richmond Hill Library, passport processing by the USPS, car displays and a wide variety of other activities. Door prizes will be given out, including the grand prize of $1,500 in GNC products. Drawings will be held throughout the day.
