Dylan Brinkley, Vice President/Commercial Relationship Manager at Great Oaks Bank in Richmond Hill, has graduated from the Georgia Banking School.

The graduation ceremony took place on May 5 at the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education in Athens.

Established in 1961, the Georgia Banking School is a three-year specialized school run by the Georgia Bankers Association. The purpose of the school is to prepare bank managers to effectively and profitably serve their communities by developing a thorough understanding of banking practices, regulations, and management principles. During the program, graduates complete three annual one-week sessions at the University of Georgia in Athens as well as home study assignments between sessions. The school provides a well-balanced curriculum taught by UGA faculty members, veteran bankers, and other industry experts and specialists.

“We are proud of Dylan for achieving this great educational accomplishment,” said Jon Seagraves, Chief Banking Officer. “His dedication to our industry and commitment to learning should be commended.”

Thirty-nine Georgia bankers graduated from the Georgia Banking School this year.
