Man reports that he misplaced his tag decal sticker and filed a report to get a new one.

A gray Kia Sportage was stopped for having a suspended registration and not having valid insurance on file.
March 14:
A gray Chevrolet Avalanche traveling westbound on Hwy 280 was pulling a trailer with no tag displayed; the vehicle also failed to yield to a semitruck that was already in a roundabout. The driver had a suspended license.

Deputies respond to a structure fire at a residence. The resident of the home was not home and is in the process of moving out, according to his mother.
No adults, children, or pets were in the home when the fire occurred.

A mother reports that her young son has been receiving harassing communications on TikTok.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in response to a large brush fire. Bryan County Fire & Rescue requested help from Georgia Forestry as well as mutual aid from surrounding counties.
March 15: A deputy encounters a vehicle containing marijuana and other tobacco products; the driver of the vehicle was under 21. The vehicle was towed due to the driver having smoked marijuana, and thus unable to safely drive the vehicle. The driver’s neighbor was able to take possession of the vehicle through the towing service.
March 15: An Ellabell woman was found to be a victim of fraud via multiple online scams, including sending $50,000 to an individual named “Franklin” from Tiktok.
March 15: Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 17 to meet with a man who reports that he lost his motorcycle insurance card and registration.
He stated that he turned in his motorcycle vest, which contained the now-missing documents, to a motorcycle association. Members of the motorcycle association stated that they did not have possession of the man’s missing documents.
March 15: Bryan County deputies were dispatched to meet with the Bloomingdale Police Department to take custody of a man with a warrant from the Bryan County Sheriff ’s Office.
The man was taken to the Bryan County Jail.
March 15: A white Nissan Altima driving along Hwy 17 South was stopped for failing to maintain the lane; driver arrested for DUI (alcohol).
March 16: Man reports missing his wallet; wallet contains his bank cards, identity cards and carry permit.
