From the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

January 1: A verbal domestic dispute occurred between a couple.

January 1: Driver charged for DUI (alcohol), failure to maintain lane

January 1: Driver going 88 MPH in a 55 MPH zone; charged for speeding, reckless driving.

January 2: Driver going 80 MPH in a 55 MPH zone; charged for speeding, no insurance, seatbelt violation.

January 2: Man reports not receiving his license plate in the mail.

January 2: Man reports a lost passport; he says he last saw it at his address “sometime in December”.

January 2: A black Chevrolet Silverado was found off GA-67S near Beulah Church Road engulfed in flames.

January 2: Driver stopped for failing to stay in lane, also did not have a working brake light. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license.

January 2: Man reports that he found a black suitcase off the side of Georgia State Route 25 near mile marker 8. He stated he initially took the suitcase to the Richmond Hill Police Department, where he was advised to bring it to the Bryan County Sheriff ’s Office since the property was found within the county.

January 3: Driver found passed out behind the wheel. The vehicle was running, and a small dog was sitting on her lap. After knocking several times, the driver woke up. The driver was later to be found under the influence of drugs (Xanax).

January 3: Woman reports that her cat went missing about 2-3 days ago and claims that a cat found on a Facebook group belongs to her, but was already claimed by someone else.

January 5: Warrant executed in Bulloch County for man wanted out of Bryan County. The man was transferred to Bryan County Jail and placed in custody.

January 6: Woman reports that her husband accidentally discarded the license plate to their gray Toyota Corolla.

January 6: Deputies were dispatched to a residence in response to three individuals fighting. The cause of the brawl was over bill payments.

January 5: Man reports damage to his car while driving along I-95 South; says his car was pelted with rocks, damaging his windshield.

January 6: Parents report threatening communications received by their child from other juveniles.

January 6: Woman reports verbal threats from her ex-boyfriend.

January 6: Woman reports that her neighbor yelled at her two sons who were riding their E-Bikes around the neighborhood. The neighbor referred to a new HOA policy stating that the boys couldn’t ride in the areas in question, and stated that there was no yelling or cursing between either party.
