From the Bryan County Sheriff ’s Office reports:
May 26: Man stopped for driving without a tag, did not have drivers’ license or insurance.
May 26: Man reports that his uncle hit him with a log at the Post Office office Hwy 280 during an argument. He wanted to press charges.
May 26: Woman finds a lost firearm in a Love’s Truck Stop bathroom.
May 26: Man advises that his boat was left in the water at the Waterford landing boat ramp overnight with the motor out of the water. The boat was then struck by another boat operator.
May 26: Woman reports threatening text messages from an unknown person.
May 26: Complainant tells a deputy that he did not want his ex-wife on his property because of a protection order placed on him by Bryan County Court.
May 27: Driver arrested for driving without a license, no valid tags/registration May 27: Driver arrested for driving without a license, no valid tags/registration.
May 27: Driver going 77 MPH in a 55 MPH zone; arrested for driving with a suspended license.
May 27: Deputies respond to a domestic dispute between a tenant and a homeowner’s mother.
May 27: Deputy observed a black Chevrolet Cruze fail to maintain its lane and make an improper lane change, striking a semi. Driver did not have a license.
