Feb 14:
Animal Complaint
Man reports that his neighbor's dogs kept barking, so he confronted him about it. The neighbor non - chalantly replied "ok". e man requested more clarity from his neighbor regarding the barking dogs, but the neighbor continued saying "ok". e neighbor then said "I got something for you," and went into his house. e man felt threatened, and so called the police to get the exchange documented. e neighbor tells his side of the story: he was cleaning out his dogs primary cage they stay in, so that's why they were in the backyard kennel. He stated they were barking and as soon as he had the other kennel cleaned, he was going to remove them from the back yard, and that's what he did. The neighbor stated he didn't want to get into an argument, so he just kept telling the man "ok' and continued on doing what he was doing. He stated he did not threaten his neighbor in any way.
Feb 14:
Driving in divided highway, no license
A gray Ford Mustang was crossing the gore while turning into the parking lot. A traffic stop was made. The man's Arizona driver's license was cancelled; he didn't have a valid license in any state.
Damage to property
An HOA president wished to report juveniles driving four-wheelers and golf carts want only in her community. One golf cart was bogged down. The woman showed the tire tracks in the strip landscaping between the road and the sidewalk where the stuck golf cart is located. Upon gathering the information, the father of the juvenile driving the golf cart, showed up and confronted his juvenile son, and said that they would take care of the damages.
DUI, speeding, obstruction of officers, open container in vehicle
Vehicle traveling westbound on Eldora Road stopped for going 76 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. A large open bottle of vodka and a Glock handgun was found in the car.
Pedestrian must walk on sidewalks, obstruction of law enforcement officers
A Ford Explorer abruptly stopped on the highway, dropping off a passenger. Upon noticing the subject, the man fled the scene, running west on the roadway, towards traffic. The man then headed towards the woods, trying to evade capture. The man was captured and arrested after a lengthy case, and was handed over to Bryan County Transport Van for further processing.
Driving with suspended license, seat belt violation, child restraint not used properly
Woman driving with a suspended license, 4 juveniles in the car without proper seat belts/car seats.
DUI, open container of alcohol in vehicle
Woman arrested for DUI, alcohol, and during a search of her vehicle, alcohol was found.
Feb 15:
Civil matter
Woman reports harassing messages from her father, who was angry that he was unaware that she had a child and threatened to take custody of the child from her.
Damage to property
Man reports ongoing issues with his landlord. He alleges that his landlord's brother tampered with his vehicle by loosening the lug nuts earlier that morning.
Failure to yield when entering intersection, no driver’s license
Man involved in a two-vehicle car accident did not have a valid driver's license. He had been parked on the grass near the stop sign on Cartertown Rd. When he attempted to cross the roadway quickly, his vehicle was struck by the other driver.
Feb 16:
Possession of methamphetamine, warrant executed
Man found at gas station trying to use stolen credit card, officers found approx. 1 gram of methamphetamine in a clear plastic wrapping. The man also had a warrant for his arrest.
