December 15

Theft by shoplifting

Manager at Love’s Travel Stop (Hwy 280) reports a man was shoplifting items from a store. Description: white man, mustache, roughly 37 years old, six feet tall, about 160 pounds, wearing light blue color jeans with a blue zipper long sleeve shirt. Cost of the stolen items was approximately $250.

Reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, following too closely Driver stopped for the above infractions. Informed that he has a court date on February 28, 2024.

Damage to property

Driver reports damage to her car while driving northbound on I-95.

Two vehicles were involved in an accident near her and some debris hit her car. No injuries reported.

Matter of record

Woman reports a juvenile wearing a ski mask ringing her doorbell. She said that he left in a group.

Possession of methamphetamine, driving while license suspended or revoked, tag lights revoked Driver given citations/arrested for above offenses.

Aggravated assault

An Uber driver reported going to pick up someone at an address, and then tried to contact the customer with no response. As he was leaving the address, a woman with a rifle pointed the gun at him and told him to get out of the car. He instead drove off, and the suspect then fired a shot into the left side of his tail light.

Suspicious incident

Man reports that a man driving a tan-colored vehicle walks onto his property in the mornings (between 6:30 and 8:00 a.m.) with a rope attempting to lure his dog.
