Aug 1: Man reports a vehicle registration on a sold car lost during a recent move.

Aug 1: Woman reports receiving constant texts/Tiktok videos from her child’s father when she has repeatedly asked him to stop, and to only communicate with her for matters regarding

Aug 1: Man reports issues with a neighbor whom he suspects is mentally ill, and who has been making him and his family feel uncomfortable. He reported that she frequently uses profanity and makes rude or sexually inappropriate comments directed toward him.

Aug 1: Woman reports that she had struck a deer on Griffin Road as she was on the way to her parents’ house.

Aug 1: A white Ford van was stopped for failing to stop completely at a stop sign. The driver did not have a valid driver’s license.

Aug 1: Woman reports a hit-and-run on her mailbox.

Aug 1: A stray bullet was found at the Hyundai Megasite. The ammo appeared to be that of a 357-magnum round.

Aug 2: Warrant executed for man stopped with no valid insurance. Warrants came from Effingham and Chatham Counties.

Aug 2: Woman reports that she was caught in a road rage incident with a white Ford Expedition while traveling eastbound on Interstate 16. She reported that the passenger in the Expedition threw an object at her windshield, causing it to crack.

Aug 3: Deputies respond to reports of a shooting at a residential address. Two victims were found with gunshot wounds; EMS was alerted and the victims were transported to Memorial Hospital.

Aug 3: Woman reports damage to her vehicle while on the road traveling; she reported hitting a bump in the road, which caused the undercarriage on the driver’s side to come down on the left front tire, rendering the vehicle inoperable.

Aug 4: Woman reports damage to her front right tire after hitting a pot hole on Black Creek Church Rd.

Aug 4: Hyundai worker reports that a co-worker slapped her at a gas station parking lot following a road rage incident. Both parties maintain that the blame lies with the other.

Aug 4: Man reports that, during routine maintenance at a shop, his car lost its license plate.

Aug 4: Woman reports that a man that she had previously evicted from her property in July threatened to cause damage to her belongings.

Aug 5: Man reports that his his AirBnB, Best Buy, Delta, United, Ubisoft, Steam, Paypal, and Apple accounts were hacked.

Aug 5: Man reports stolen medical equipment from his home (blood pressure machine, COPD machine, and a blood sugar testing kit).

Aug 5: Driver stopped for going 85 MPH in a posted 70 MPH zone (Interstate 95 Southbound) and was found with a suspended license.
