From the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office reports

Aug 17: Man reports that his brother has been throwing his property outside and damaging items inside the home.

Earlier in the day, the two were at Waffle House where they became involved in a verbal argument. The argument continued while traveling home, during which the other brother repeatedly touched him as he was operating a motor vehicle. The complainant stated that near Highway 17 North and Harris Trail, he stopped the vehicle, ordered his brother out, and he exited without further incident. Approximately 30 minutes after he arrived home, the brother was driven up to the residence on a golf cart by a neighbor. He ran up the driveway, forced his way through the side gate, and entered the backyard. He then came through the back door of the residence, at which point the complainant fled out the front door.

Aug 17: Car going 118 MPH on I-16 East was evading the police stop, and managed to get away.

Aug 17: Woman reports that three males went to approximately 7 different homes in her neighborhood, according to her neighborhood’s Facebook group.

She then showed the officer a video from her camera of those 3 individuals walking to her porch until they heard the speakers from the camera state “you are being recorded”. They then ran away.

Two were wearing masks, and one had a hat on.

Aug 17: Man charged with criminal trespass and criminal damage to property (broke the taillights to a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado).

Aug 17: A gold Dodge Caravan was found abandoned on the side of the road in the area of Wilma Edwards Road and Helen Road.

Aug 18: A driver was stopped for driving at a dangerously slow speed on the highway (less than 50 MPH). The driver had no valid license, expired registration, and a warrant out for his arrest from Bulloch County.

Aug 18: A man was found trespassing, going dumpster diving through the Webstaurant Store dumpsters.

Aug 18: Man reports that both of his tags fell off while he was driving along Hwy 17.

Aug 18: An abandoned vehicle was found on the road; the owner said that he couldn’t afford to have it towed or fixed. The vehicle was towed and the owner was notified of the vehicle’s destination, and he stated that he would take the title and surrender the vehicle.

Aug 18: Man reports that while he was taking out the trash with his yellow labrador, three bulldogs ran from his neighbor’s house and began being aggressive towards him and his dog.

The complainant advised that this is the fourth time he’s had issues with his neighbor’s dogs.

Aug 18: During a traffic stop (driver going 93 MPH in a posted 70 MPH zone), the driver was found with a warrant for his arrest out of Glynn County.
