Firefighter/Paramedic Erin Howell has been named the Bryan County Fire and Emergency Services “Employee of the Quarter” for the 2nd quarter of 2023.

According to a press release, Howell has been an employee since November 2021. Since being hired, she has obtained her Firefighter 1 certifications and recently passed her Hazardous Materials Operations certification. 

She is also an EMS Field Training Officer for the department. She has worked closely with her officers to make Medical Monday less classroom and more scenario-based to be more realistic. 

Howell was described as someone who "always has a positive attitude, motivation, and drive for not just herself, but the entire team."
