Firefighter/EMT Zachary Iser was recently named the Employee of the Quarter for the 4th Quarter of 2019 by Bryan County Emergency Services.

Iser is with B Shift South Battalion at Station 1 in Richmond Hill. According to BCES Director Freddy Howell, Iser is part of the Blackhawk Team and he did an outstanding job running the Blackhawk during Hurricane Dorian along with his teammates.

Additionally, Iser has put in multiple hours to help improve the communication equipment and prepare the new and renovated stations with radios and speakers.

Outside of his normal and extra duties, Iser has been an active member of the RTF, Honor Guard, as well as the Dive and Boat Team.

“Firefighter/EMT-B Iser is a definite asset to BCES and we congratulate him on a job well done,” Howell said.
