A 22.5-acre luxury apartment complex in Richmond Hill recently sold for $26.8 million, according to a property transfer on file at the Bryan County Courthouse.

Buckeye Plantation Luxury Apartments, located near Harris Trail Road on Buckeye Drive, was purchased July 31 by URS Capital Partners of New York and a handful of limited liability companies formed in June.

The “condominium style” apartments in Buckeye Plantation rent from $900 to $1,395 per month, according to buckeyeplantation.com.

The seller is Buckeye Richmond Hill LLC, which lists a Savannah mailing address but is apparently based in Cincinnati, according to the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.

Buckeye Richmond Hill, LLC, bought the property Dec. 1, 2017, according to courthouse records, which show that the company paid $8.5 million and $85,500 for the multiple parcel sale.

The property was developed in 2008 and 2009 by Buckeye Land Development LLC and Homes of Integrity Construction, Inc., records show.

According to the URS Capital Partners website, the company’s portfolio includes apartment complexes in Charleston, S.C., Pooler, Savannah, Atlanta, Valdosta, Jacksonville, Fla., Chattanooga, Tenn., Covington, Ky., and Cincinnati.
