Thomas Folkerts of Richmond Hill, majoring in broadcast, digital media journalism, was named to the dean’s honor list for spring 2020 at Cedarville University in Ohio.

This recognition required Folkerts to maintain a 3.75 GPA and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Robert Fred Tucker III of Richmond Hill has been named to the president’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Clemson University in South Carolina.

To be named to the president’s list, a student must achieve a 4.0 (all As) grade-point average.

Dana M. Vanderheyden of Richmond Hill has been named to the dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester at Clemson University.

To be named to the dean’s list, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Hannah Smith, a public health major from Richmond Hill, graduated from Coastal Carolina University in the spring of 2020.

Qunita Humphries of Ellabell graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from College of Charleston in May 2020.

Humphries was among the more than 1,500 students who received degrees.

Kennesaw State University recently welcomed its newest class of graduates. Nearly 3,400 students earned bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees for the spring 2020 semester, including

• Kianna Pangelinan of Richmond Hill, who earned a BS in psychology.

• Nadia Wright of Richmond Hill, who earned a BS in biology.

Mercer University recently announced new graduates, as well as president and dean’s lists students. The school conferred bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to more than 2,200 students representing 12 schools and colleges during the 2019-2020 academic year, including the following students from Richmond Hill:

Mercer University also recently announced the president’s list and dean’s list for the spring 2020 semester.
