Mercer University conferred bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to more than 2,200 students representing 12 schools and colleges at four ceremonies during May in Macon and Atlanta, including the following students in Bryan County:

Ellabell -- Daniel R. Lindsey, School of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine.

Pembroke -- Andraelya Moody, College of Education, Master of Education.

Richmond Hill -- 

Aderemi Awe, College of Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Science.

Marcus Shaw, College of Liberal Arts, Bachelor of Arts.

Rachel Shepherd, School of Business and Economics, Bachelor of Business Administration.

Amber Thomas, College of Education, Master of Arts in Teaching 

Also, Mercer University recently announced the president’s list and dean’s List for the spring 2019 semester.

Inclusion on these lists requires students to meet rigorous grade-point-average standards specific to the college or school within the university.

The following area students earned a place on the lists:

Pembroke -- Dean’s list: Lydreyah Simmons

Richmond Hill -- Dean’s list: Aderemi Awe, Kalin Barber, Geena Denton, Virginia Fountain, Michelle Jung, Mark Shepherd, Agboade Sobowale and Hannah Yontz. President’s list: Alexandra Kroken and Rachel Shepherd.

Keakealani Napuaokaala Walters of Richmond Hill graduated in May with a B.S. in nursing from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
