The following students from Bryan County were named to academic achievement lists or completed their degrees.

University of the South: Emily Grayson Perry of Richmond Hill has been named to the dean’s list for the Advent 2018 term. To earn a place on the dean’s list, a student must earn a   minimum grade point average of 3.625 on a 4.0 scale.

Georgia Southern University: The university recently recognized these students for excellence in academics on the Fall 2018 president’s list.

 To be eligible for the president’s list, a student must have at least a 4.0 grade point average and carry a minimum of 12 hours for the semester.

Western Governors University: The following local residents have earned a degree from Western Governors University. Drew Cota of Richmond Hill has earned his Bachelor of Science, IT-security emphasis. James Howell of Richmond Hill has earned his Bachelor of Science, IT-security emphasis.

Pembroke mayor joins Georgia Municipal Association's '400 Club'

SAVANNAH – Mayor Tiffany Zeigler of the city of Pembroke has been recognized by the Georgia Municipal Association (GMA) and the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute as an inaugural member of the Harold F. Holtz Municipal Training Institute’s 400 Club during GMA’s Annual Convention held in Savannah on June 23.
