Summer Reading Program performances sponsored by the North and South Bryan County Libraries in Richmond Hill and Pembroke continue with a visit from the GSU Center for Wildlife Education on June 14 and Didgeridoo Down Under on June 21.

The programs are held at 10:30 a.m. at the Bryan County Elementary School cafeteria at 250 Payne Drive, and at 2 p.m. at the Richmond Hill United Methodist Church at 9050 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill.

On June 14, staff from the GSU Center for Wildlife Education will present a one-hour educational and fun program that will showcase reptiles, raptors, creepy crawlers and bugs.

June 21 will be the Didgeridoo Down Under Show – a high-energy, Australia-themed program that combines music, puppetry, comedy, environmental education, character building and audience participation. The didgeridoo has been played by Aboriginal Australians for at least 1,500 years. But DDU is much more than music — it’s an interactive one-of-a-kind musical and cultural experience for all ages.
