Rebecca Elizabeth Wesley and David Emory Lane were married on May 5, 2007 at Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church at 7 in the evening. The Reverend David Willett officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Captain and Mrs. Richard Dorne Wesley of Savannah, Ga. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Enoch Larry Reynolds of Pembroke, Ga., and Mrs. Janace Beverly Wesley and late Dorne Eugene Wesley of Lakeland, Fla., previously of Newport, Maine. She is a graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School and Mercer University where she earned a bachelor of business administration in marketing. She is currently employed with Four Seasons Travel as a leisure travel agent and is pursuing her MBA from Georgia Southern University.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Emory Lane of Statesboro, Ga. He is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Lee Tillman and the late Mr. Billy Gerome Tillman of Statesboro, and Mrs. Sue Franklin Lane and the late Mr. William Jones Lane, also of Statesboro. David is a graduate of Statesboro High School and Georgia Southern University where he earned a bachelor of business administration in finance. He is currently employed at DeWitt-Cook and Associates in Savannah.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown adorned with Spanish style lace and crystals with a cathedral length veil. She wore a pearl and crystal tiara from Seville, Spain which she purchased while studying abroad. Given in marriage by her father, Captain Richard Wesley, the bride chose Colby Rebecca Cope and Courtney Leigh Cole, both of Savannah, as her maids of honor. Michelle Garcia Lacey of Warner Robins was her matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Molly Annette Stevens of Macon, Cassandra Rae Stafford of Kennesaw, Megan Ryan Usher, Ashley Lamas Bowden, and Molly Gabri Goodman, all of Savannah. Caroline Victoria Fore was the junior bridesmaid. Flower girls were Macy Malone Thompson and Brooke Ellington Thompson of Savannah.

The groom chose his father, Mr. Robert Emory Lane as his best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Robert Brant Lane of Statesboro, brother of the groom, Mr. Matthew Enoch Wesley of Savannah, brother of the bride, Mr. Arthur Davidson Nelson of Savannah, Mr. Christopher Jay Cook of Savannah, Mr. Wesley Clements Taulbee of Statesboro, Mr. Michael Todd Hoffman of Savannah, and Mr. Daniel Grady Haley of Eatonton.

After a reception at the Hyatt Regency in the Harbor Room, the couple left for a honeymoon in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. They will make their home in Savannah, Georgia.
