Katelyn Jean Morgan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Morgan, of King of Prussia, Pa. and 2nd Lieutenant Thomas Bowers II of Richmond Hill were united in marriage on June 14, at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Roman Kupecky performed the ceremony which was held in the Brandywine Baptist Church on the Brandywine Battlefield in Chadds Ford, Pa. The groom is the son of Jodie H. Bowers of Richmond Hill.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, William Morgan. She wore a formal strapless A-line organza gown with a side drape and beaded metallic embroidery bodice with a chapel length train.

The groom was in full dress military Blues.

After the exchange of rings, the bride and groom followed the old Military Custom of passing under the arch of sabors.

The reception was held at the Mendenhall Country Club in Pennsylvania.

After a honeymoon to the west coast, the couple will reside in Hamburg, Pa.

Aleshia Ellingson served as the bride’s maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Julia Gambone and Leslie Trautman.

Michael Dabney served as the groom’s best man. The groomsmen were Eugene Yeo and Nathan Quinn.

Ushers were Andrew Morgan, brother of the bride, of King of Prussia and Jonathan James Bowers, brother of the groom, of Richmond Hill.

Guest register attendants were Ashley Paige Hockman Bowers, sister of the groom and Gabe Albright, both of Richmond Hill.

Gregory On was the trumpeter and Jessie Orton was the vocalist.

The bride and groom are both graduates of Houghton College in Houghton, N.Y.

The groom has a B.S. in educational ministries and a minor in Bible. He is employed by Eastern University as a security guard and attends Evangelical Theological Seminary in Myerstown, Pa. After he graduates he will service his country as a Army Military Chaplain.

The bride has a B.A. in English and Bible and a minor in sociology.
