Volunteers need to explain Medicare
Placeholder Image
Would you like to learn more about the Medicare program and help others manage their health? Do you have an interest in lifelong planning strategies or preventing fraud targeted at the senior population?
The Coastal Georgia Area Agency on Aging’s GeorgiaCares program needs volunteers to help counsel Medicare beneficiaries about their health-related coverage and other options available to them.
Volunteers are also needed to assist with the GeorgiaCares SMP project to promote consumer awareness and prevent fraud as well as with the GeorgiaCares Lifelong Planning Program.
Volunteers will receive free in-depth training.
If you have at least four hours per month to volunteer as a one-on-one educator, presenter, information booth attendant, brochure distributor or support team member, please contact the Coastal Georgia Area Agency on Aging’s GeorgiaCares office at (912) 264-7363 ext. 239 or 800-669-8387.
