Kaitlin R. Lynch, daughter of Patricia D. and Charles D. Lynch of Pembroke, recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District in Jacksonville.
The program allows recruits to enter the Navy and take up to one year to complete prior commitments such as high school. Using recruiters as mentors, this program helps recruits ease into the transition from civilian to military life.
Lynch will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center in Great Lakes, Ill.
Lynch is a 2012 graduate of Southeast Bulloch High School in Brooklet.

Esterbrook joins Navy
Johnathan J. S. Esterbrook, son of Rosario A. P. and Robert S. Esterbrook of Fort Stewart, recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy under the Delayed Entry Program at Navy Recruiting District in Jacksonville.

Esterbrook will report for active duty to undergo basic training at the Navy’s Recruit Training Center in Great Lakes, Ill.
Esterbrook is a 2013 graduate of Liberty County High School in Hinesville.
