Jewish a cappella group The Maccabeats' "Latke Recipe" music video shares what some of Hanukkah's best parts are: good friends, close family and a quality latke recipe, according to Time.

The group's 2015 Hanukkah song parodies Walk the Moon's summer hit "Shut Up and Dance," Olivia B. Waxman wrote for Time.

Jewish Journal noted the track's celebration-themed refrain:

"Tonight is Hanukkah Got everything we need Good friends and family here to try our latke recipe Best served with applesauce, you see We've got ooh, ooh, ooh The latke recipe"

This isn't The Maccabeats' first Hanukkah hit, according to Jewish Journal. The band broke through in 2010 with "Candlelight," a spin on Taio Cruz's club anthem "Dynamite." "Candlelight's" video garnered 10.6 million views on YouTube, and the band since has opened for Jewish musician Matisyahu and performed at the White House.

Hana Levi Julian wrote for The Jewish Press "Latke Recipe" with dynamic melodies and interesting lyrics should get some serious spins during next month's holiday.

"The Maccabeats ... (have) done it again, bringing together all the best elements of great Jewish holiday entertainment in one tidy little music video for Chanukuah," Julian wrote.

Hanukkah begins the evening of Dec. 6 and runs until Dec. 14.
