SPRINGFIELD I don't know about you, but I grew up in a pretty censored household.

This was especially true when it came to the TV shows we were allowed to consume as kids. "Power Rangers" was nixed when my mom thought it was too violent. And despite its animation which attracted a younger audience, she was not happy when she heard Danny Elfman's iconic "Simpsons" theme echo in the family room. It was usually followed by a demand to change the channel.

Luckily for me, I was the youngest of four children and my supervision became increasingly, well, lax. Once I had a TV in my room, I regularly watched "The Simpsons" reruns before bed, falling head over heels for some of the best comedy writing in the history of television. I even had a mix CD that had all of Ralph Wiggum's most famous lines, which is a completely normal thing for a preteen girl to listen to.

I still remember my mind being blown when I found out Bart Simpson he of "Eat my shorts" and Butterfinger spokesperson fame was voiced by a woman. Not only that, but voice actor Nancy Cartwright also brought to life many other notable Springfield residents like Ralph, Nelson, Data Base, Todd Flanders and more.

Cartwright recently released a video where she does seven characters in under 40 seconds, and her voice's chameleon-like ability is a joy to hear and the disconnect between on-screen persona and reality are mind-bending to behold.
