Turkey 'egg' hunt coming to post

Help find the eggs left by turkeys around Cypress Creek Adventure Golf on Dec. 1.
Kids (ages 0-5) are invited to hunt for the missing eggs while having fun. The hunt is free and starts at 10 a.m. For more information, call 767-4273.

Youth basketball, cheerleading
Enroll now at Parent Central Services (767-2312) to play youth basketball or be a cheerleader. Registration for boys and girls basketball (ages 5-17) and cheerleading (ages 6-13) ends Nov. 30.
Coed team practices begin in December and games begin in January. Games are played on Fort Stewart. Fees per child are $20 for ages 4-5 and $40 for ages 6-18. For more information, call Youth Sports at 767-5079.

Basketball clinics
SKIES Unlimited will host Youth Basketball Clinics for 3rd-10th graders at the Fort Stewart Youth Center from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 30 and Dec 7 and 14. The cost will be $15 per clinic per person.
Coach Jason Baker will provide tips and techniques on pivoting, catching, passing, dribbling, shooting, defense, faking, cutting, rebounding and other drills.

Managed hunts
Soldiers and retirees can register until Dec. 10 for the season’s final Outdoor Recreation managed hunt, scheduled for Dec. 20 in the Bravo 4 area of Fort Stewart.
Sign up at the Stewart or Hunter Pass and Permit offices.
Fifty participants will be selected by drawing. A $10 fee per hunter is payable upon selection.

Christmas tree lightings
The Christmas tree outside Club Stewart will come to life and Santa will greet children during the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 4.
Seasonal music will be presented by the 3rd ID Band and a high school chorus and cheerleaders will perform.
Santa will be available for pictures, and Mrs. Claus may join him, so bring your cameras. Free cookies and hot chocolate will be served. Gluhwein will be available for sale.

Holiday Brunch with Santa
Make plans now to enjoy a brunch with Santa on Dec. 7 from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at Club Stewart. The menu will include breakfast favorites.
There also will be a photo opportunity with Santa.
Advance tickets are $14.95 for adults and $6.95 for children until Dec. 5. The cost after that is $17.95 for adults and $7.95 for children. Children 2 and under are free. For more information, call 767-4717.
