Georgia museums will observe Super Museum Sunday on Feb. 6. Many museums throughout the state, including the Dorchester Academy Museum of African-American History in Midway, will offer free admission from noon- 4 p.m.
More than 40 cultural institutions, historic sites, house museums and art museums throughout coastal Georgia will participate in Super Museum Sunday. For a list of sites that will offer free admission, go to the Georgia Historical Society website at www.georgiahistory.com.
Georgians and visitors alike can experience the area’s rich history and cultural life as they visit facilities from Statesboro to Darien as part of the annual family event.
