Spend New Year's Eve on Ossabaw

Wild Night on Ossabaw will be Dec. 31-Jan. 1 on Ossabaw Island.
Events begin at 2 p.m. Dec. 31. Participants will depart by boat from Skidaway Island’s Delegal Creek Marina on Dec. 31. Activities include an interpretive driving tour led by naturalist John Crawford; a sky-watching program on Ossabaw’s north end led by astronomer Laura Lawton; a nighttime campfire; a champagne toast at midnight for those age 21 or older; and breakfast Jan. 1.
This trip is designed for adults and for children age 12 and older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult. Fees include round-trip transportation, activities, snacks, breakfast and overnight accommodations in the clubhouse (dormitory-style), boarding house (semi-private rooms) or tent camping with access to showers and rest-
rooms (campers must bring their own tents). Boarding-house fees are $350 for Future Friends of Ossabaw (includes “friends” membership) and $300 for Friends of Ossabaw. Clubhouse fees are $250 and $200, respectively. Tent camping is $100 for both.
