Families are invited to celebrate everything Dr. Seuss, from his magical characters to the joy and lessons in each of his stories, during “Seuss Fest” at Savannah Children’s Museum Saturday.

You are encouraged to dress as your favorite Seuss character, in honor of the children’s book author.

Museum educators will lead Seuss stories, games and activities, which include a “Truffula Tree” making station and an “Oh the Places You’ll Go” area with costumes and photo opportunities. Use #SeussFest2016 to share the experience on social media.

Savannah Children’s Theatre will also perform songs from “Seussical the Musical” at noon and 2pm.

The fest is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is at 655 Louisville Road.

The festival is included in the cost of museum admission, $7.50 for guests 18 months and older. It is free to CHS members.
