ISLA NUBLAR Its been over 20 years since the release of Jurassic Park, but while technology is smarter, humans arent.

Jurassic World shows that life finds a way to cause chaos once again. The newest trailer shows a bigger scope and scale for the dinosaur park gone awry. The new villain is basically a bigger, badder tyrannosaurus rex, but the real problem is shes smarter than any other dinosaur.

The trailer shows off a few key ideas worth discussiing. The biggest of course is the relationship between Chris Pratts character and the raptors. He has raptor pets.

Raptor pets.

He is going to hunt the dinosaur with raptor pets. The repetition is needed because the use of dinosaurs as allies is one of the few huge differences this movie can deliver. Earlier trailers teased it, but it seemed like the raptors would turn on Pratt's character. This trailer shows that he is absolutely going to work with them.

The next key point is that the dinosaurs are actually working as a team in this one. Before this they were just mindless animals who hunted whatever. This will lead to a more efficient killing machine.

The park is pretty cool. Apparently 20,000 potential victims tried to enjoy the park in the comfort of little tank minivans and bubble-motorcycles. The park looks prettier and far more advanced than the 1993 version, but that still won't protect people from dinosaurs that get too smart.

Also, a weird feeling that the giant whale dinosaur will be the deus ex machina is creeping in. What are the chances that the dinosaur dies when Pratt gets her too close to the water tank? Not saying it will happen, but just seems very convenient, especially when they feature that huge water dinosaur so prevalent.

Jurassic World will be released June 12.
